One of Houston’s most iconic hotels has big bragging rights—again.
Travel + Leisure has named The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Resort the no. 1 resort property in Texas in its 2023 World’s Best list. This is the second consecutive year the Houstonian took the top spot on the prestigious list.
According to T+L: “Athletes, sybarites, retreat-goers, and family travelers all praise the beloved Houston institution for its ‘huge campus,’ ‘fabulous spa,’ and ‘outstanding service.’”
Situated in the Uptown district not far from the Galleria, the Houstonian is situated on 27 lush acres, providing a respite amid the bustle of the state’s largest city. The resort includes fitness and wellness offerings, onsite dining and entertainment and indoor and outdoor meeting spaces.
Originally opened 44 years ago, the 280-room Houstonian recently completed a $70 million renovation.
