Hotel Vesper, a 131-room boutique property in the Uptown Houston district will officially open next week.

The Tribute Portfolio Hotel is a reimagination of the property in the 5100-block of Hidalgo Street, just steps from the iconic Galleria. Hotel Vesper—named for the evening star and brightest point in the night sky—is designed to charm with lush greenery and landscaping, a chic lobby showcasing a selection of sculptures and artwork and stylish amenity-rich guest rooms. The property will include Caché Cocktail Bar and Vesper Café, sophisticated event spaces, and a state-of-the-art fitness center.

“We are thrilled to introduce the Hotel Vesper concept to the Houston hospitality scene, providing locals and visitors with a fresh experience that caters to the varying needs of today’s fast-paced, yet discerning leisure and business traveler,” says Carol Davies, Senior Vice President of Commercial Strategy with Driftwood Hospitality, which is managing the property. “Our comfortable and welcoming design is seen from the moment of arrival and extends to our guestrooms and suites, event spaces, and signature cocktail bar and cafe.”

Hotel Vesper’s dynamic rooms and suites offer strategically-lit workspaces, enhanced storage for personal items, and plush bedding and accessories. Fully-stocked mini-bars are also available in-room, along with in-room dining services.

Hotel Vesper features unique event spaces including three function rooms designed for groups of up to 115 attendees. Pets are always welcome.

“As Uptown’s newest boutique hotel offering, Hotel Vesper is poised to raise the bar in the Houston market, “said  Michael Diaz, Chief Operating Officer with Driftwood Hospitality. “We look forward to sharing our passion for service and style with locals and guests alike through spaces and experiences designed with them in mind.”
