As the booking window to World Cup matches gets closer, it is important to note that YOY percent changes in booking pace are expected to decrease compared to previously reported figures. Though demand has fluctuated, YOY increases in ADR, or average daily rate, for the overall market is anticipated to drive revenue growth. According to recent analysis put out by CoStar and Tourism Economics, Houston could see an approximate 11% increase in RevPAR for June and July. This would be significant as summer months bring historically lower demand for the market.

- Booking pace (rooms currently committed) for the Houston market as a whole is ahead compared to the same period last year, with June up 9.1% and July up about 11%. The Houston hotel market stretches from The Woodlands on the north side to Texas City in the south.
- Downtown: The Downtown submarket is up 38% in June and 63% in July.
- Uptown/Greenway Plaza: The Uptown/Greenway Plaza submarket is down 5.5% in June and up 11% in July.
- Medical Center/NRG: The Medical Center/NRG submarket is down 44% in June and 5% in July.
