HOUSTON (July 29, 2026) – Houston Theater Week Presented by Huntington Bank returns with Buy One, Get One Free deals, August 24-30, 2026, and this year there is plenty to celebrate. Since 2022, more than 118,000 tickets have been sold during Theater Week, raising nearly $5 million for local performing arts groups.
The $5 million milestone is a testament to the powerful impact of the partnership between Houston First Corporation and local professional performing arts groups. As these cultural organizations continue to make their best shows available to consumers during Theater Week, HFC remains committed to supporting the annual initiative through marketing and public relations.
“What started as an effort to get people back into venues for live performances after the pandemic has grown into a valuable annual sales boost for our local performing arts groups,” said Michael Heckman, President and CEO of Houston First. “Houston First continues to invest in this annual collaboration because it works—the public, the performing arts community, and our city all win.”
Audiences can choose ticket deals from nearly 400 live shows across 21 participating organizations. Houston Theater Week is the only program of its kind in the country that includes theater, music and dance performances as part of its extensive lineup of BOGO offers.
