Houston hotels are elevating the guest and visitor experience by expanding their dining concepts. Over the past year, several properties have welcomed new restaurants, further enhancing the city’s dynamic food scene.

Here’s a roundup of a few of those restaurants that have recently opened and those that will open soon.

Café Moran

Café Moran, which opened in September 2024 at the newly renovated Moran Hotel in CityCentre, offers a variety of breakfast options for guests to enjoy. Café Moran's extensive menu offers "hearty classics to fresh, innovative dishes." The restaurant is open for breakfast daily Monday through Saturday and on Sunday visitors can enjoy a brunch buffet.

Chardon

Chardon, a classic French bistro, opened in February 2025 at the Thompson Hotel on Allen Parkway. Chardon's dishes reflect "the artistry of tradition paired with the vibrancy of Houston’s rich culinary landscape" and guests can enjoy dinner with options like Wagyu Beef Cheek Bourguignon and Mushroom Gnocchi Parisienne.

Perseid

Perseid, which opened in January 2025 at Hotel Augustine in Montrose, "offers a take on the quintessential neighborhood bistro through the lens of the Gulf Coast." Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Perseid’s menu includes roasted duck breast, hanger steak, steelhead trout, and more.

Remi

Remi, a euro-inspired restaurant, is set to open this month at the newly renovated Hotel Granduca in Uptown Park. Remi will offer an elevated dining experience, and the menu includes steak frites, ora king salmon, and half chicken to name a few.

Looking forward, the food scene within hotels will continue to grow as Hotel Daphne is set to open this year in the Heights and will feature an all-day restaurant.
