Houston First received the Southwest Showcase's Most Exciting Destination Change Award for the GRB Renovation and Avenida Houston.

The Southwest Showcase Most Exciting Meeting Destination Change award recognizes any city, bureau, organization, group or company that has made a significant change to a destination of interest to the event industry.

The award was presented at the Southwest Showcase, January 24, 2018 in Austin, TX.
