Houston First was an enthusiastic – and successful! – participant in this year’s Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest March 2-4.

In fact, judges voted HFC as the runner-up for most colorful team. Shown above with their banner, and flanked by rodeo committee members, are Belen Timmins, Luther Villagomez and  Edward de la Garza. Special thanks to our in-house partners Freeman Audio Visual and Aramark for making the tent come to fruition in style.

More than 250 cooking teams participated in the contest.
