It’s particularly rewarding to see the collaboration between the performing arts groups and Houston First develop into such a valuable and impactful initiative for our city’s creative community and consumers. Our goal with this program has always been to support professionals in the performing arts, and help build a broader audience base by giving consumers an opportunity to experience quality live shows at a discount,” said Michael Heckman, president and CEO of Houston First Corporation.
The partnership between Houston First and the performing arts community is a win for everyone. Houston First has invested in the marketing, advertising, promotions and creation of a website exclusively for Theater Week, so that the performing arts groups could focus on what shows and how many tickets they would make available.
