A new dual-branded hotel on the southeast side of Downtown Houston has officially opened.

PA Hospitality’s nine-story Home2 Suites & Tru by Hilton Houston Downtown Convention Center opened on March 19.

The 221-room hotel, which is located on the 1500 block of Leeland near Toyota Center, features brand amenities including free hot breakfast, complimentary WiFi, a pool, a 24-hour business center, and fitness center. The property is just four blocks from the George R. Brown Convention Center and within easy walking distance of Toyota Center, Daikin Park, Discovery Green and other Downtown destinations.

E.E. Reed Construction LP served as the contractor for the project.

In Downtown Houston, the hotel market ended 2024 at 61.6% in occupancy, up 4.9% and $220 in rate, a 4.3% gain. RevPAR increased almost 10% over 2023. reaching $136, while demand and revenue gained 8.7% and 13.3%, respectively.
