HOUSTON (February 19, 2020) – Houston’s ultimate destination for live music and outdoor entertainment, Avenida Houston, is proud to announce its spring concert lineup of world-renowned artists as diverse as the city itself. The ‘Party on the Plaza’ concert series kicks off on select Thursday evenings, 6-10 p.m., March 26 through May 7. Houstonians can enjoy local fare from surrounding restaurants and breweries while listening to live music under the stars performed by GRAMMY and Oscar award-winning musicians. Houston First Corporation is excited to give Houstonians the opportunity to enjoy free concerts by star-studded artists whose ticket prices generally range between $35-$95 per ticket.
This year’s lineup includes: St. Paul and The Broken Bones with The Dip (March 26), Caloncho with Superfónicos (April 9), co-headliners Robert Randolph and The Family Band and The Soul Rebels (April 23), and Ryan Bingham with Houndmouth (May 7).
“We are thrilled to bring this talented group of performers into the heart of our city. Being able to provide the free concert series to the Houston community is an added bonus,” said Todd Holloman, head of live events and experiences at Houston First Corporation. “Houston is a huge city, but music brings people together. It is our hope the ‘Party on the Plaza’ series becomes a gathering place for friends, families and neighbors near and far to kick back, relax with local food and drinks and experience collectively some amazing musical talents.”
