HOUSTON – Debra J. Justice, a veteran administrator of municipal facilities in Lubbock, has been named manager of Jones Hall for the Performing Arts. She assumed her new duties on Monday, October 6.

Among her responsibilities were oversight of day-to-day operations for that city’s Lubbock Civic Center, City Bank Auditorium/Coliseum and the Wells Fargo Amphitheatre. Previously, she was an event coordinator for six years in those facilities and has extensive experience in all phases of theater management, including backstage technical knowledge.
Justice’s other career stops include box office manager at Texas Tech University’s Department of Theater and Dance and auditorium manager at St. Phillip’s College Department of Fine Arts.
Justice holds a doctorate of philosophy degree from Texas Tech, a master’s of fine arts from Yale, and a bachelor of arts from Incarnate Word.
