After a record breaking 2018, what does 2019 hold for Houston and the Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau(GHCVB)? That question was answered Thursday, January 24th when Mike Waterman, President of Visit Houston was featured as the keynote speaker at the Hotel & Lodging Association of Greater Houston (HLAGH) luncheon. Waterman is a hospitality veteran, with more than 28 years in the industry, and also serves as the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer for Houston First. Waterman joined the GHCVB/Houston First from Marriott International, where he served as vice president of sales for the Southwest region overseeing 100 properties.
