Indo American Chamber of Commerce

Houston • July 27, 2021

The Indo American Chamber Of Commerce of Greater Houston honored Jorge Franz, Houston First Corporation Senior VP of Tourism and Industry Relations at a reception on July 22, 2021.

“Visitors from India spend about $5,000 per visitor in the U.S. and we only expect that to grow. Thank you so much for this honor and to be invited here today… I genuinely believe, and what I learned from India when I went was the importance of tourism in a different way. I really see tourism as something that can help build bridges between cultures and its through travel that we actually get to learn about other people and that’s the reason I have been in the industry for 20 years. It’s the reason, I am still in it and I look forward to working with every single one of you to make sure that we continue to do that so we can show everybody that Houston is an open and welcoming city,” said Jorge Franz.
