Houston First is proud of our commitment to diversity and recently supported the Indo American Chamber of Commerce 19th Annual Gala. The gala took place at the Hilton Americas Hotel in downtown Houston. The keynote speaker for the evening was Governor Greg Abbott who was introduced by the Honorable Dr. Anupam Ray Consul General of India. Also in attendance were honored guests Harris County Judge Ed Emmett and Mayor Sylvester Turner.
The Indo-American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Houston (IACCGH) was established in 1999. Since its inception, remarkable changes have occurred both in the U.S. and in India, in the realm of business and society. The last two decades have marked a monumental shift in the Indian market , opening its doors to foreign investment and access to its burgeoning market. The programs offered by the IACCGH are carefully designed to fulfill the criteria of creating opportunities for knowledge exchange, collaboration and maximization of resources for members - a diverse mix of large scale corporations, small businesses, professionals and individuals of Indian origin.
