Arcy Muñoz, Houston First Corporation Community Relations Manager served as a panelist for the 2019 Gulf Coast Young Women's Leadership Symposium held by the Texas Diversity Council on March 8, 2019 at the West Houston Institute.
Female students from grades 8 – 12 had the opportunity to hear from “Women Breaking Barriers and Women Helping Women” by selecting two breakout sessions to learn about careers in STEM, Finance, Banking, Law and Government. The Symposium furthered the Texas Diversity Council mission by empowering young girls to succeed and break barriers, with the goal of planting seeds of inspiration that will help students grow into future leaders in our community by learning about career opportunities after high school, best practices and how to become leaders of the future.
