Houston First Corporation was one of the contributing sponsors for the Young Audience of Houston gala held at the Junior League of Houston on April 5. Richard A. Carranza, superintendent of Houston Independent School District, and Robert L. Lynch, president and CEO of Americans for the Arts, were the evening’s honorees.
Proceeds from the event benefit outreach programs serving 237,800 children across the region in schools, hospitals, community centers, libraries and juvenile detention centers. Young Audiences of Houston is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that educates and inspires children through art.
Houston First was represented at the event by Michael Coppens, Vivian Montejano and Debra Justice.
