Houston First along with sponsor KHOU welcomed Houston Cougar fans to the Avenida Houston for a watch party for the Coogs first two opening round games on Friday, March 22 and Sunday, March 24. The Cougars took care of business in both games and have moved on to the Sweet Sixteen against Kentucky.
Mayor Turner, Congresswoman Shelia Jackson Lee and Tilman Fertitta joined Houston First CEO Brenda Bazan and University of Houston Chancellor Renu Khator to support the home team.
