How can I receive a copy of the online application form?

You will be able to print a copy as you are filling out the online application form. Click on the Printer Friendly Version link located in the top right hand corner of each application page.

Do I have to complete the application in one online session?

No, you can start the application and choose to save and finish it at another time. Just click on the "Save" button located at the bottom of each application page.

I was completing my application when my Internet connection failed and I’ve lost what I filled in. Can I retrieve my partially completed application?

No. We do not have access to your application until you submit the finalized version. If you do not save your application, you will need to start over.

How can I check the status of my request?

You must login to the online portal using your secure id and password to view the status of your request.

Can I copy and paste information from a Word document into one of the applications?

Yes. You can copy information from an existing Word document and paste that copy into the application.

Can I mail or email my application?

No. Houston First will only receive funding requests online through our online portal.

Do I have to reapply if I have received funding in the past from Houston First?

Yes. Houston First reviews investment requests annually. In order for us to consider funding your event or program, you must submit your online application 120 days before the date of the event for full consideration.

I received a Multi-layered Sponsorship in 2016. Do I need to re-apply for 2017?

Yes, you must apply each year for a sponsorship.
